Designed by French-Caribbean design studio dach&zephir, this sweeping and oversized chandelier is inspired by the lush tropical plants that flourish along Guadeloupe’s rivers. “The brass shade is a direct interpretation of those leaves,” says Dimitri Zephir, “whereas the structure evokes movement and balance—as if the wind could make them move.” Placed directly above the light source, the polished unlacquered brass shade will develop a gorgeous patina over time, further adding to the lamp’s allure.
